Finding a new job

Being made redundant can be a very traumatic experience and finding a new job a frustrating process.

Future Indicatives offers you a service which takes you through all the stages necessary to find a new and rewarding job. The service is based on a number of confidential 1:1 meetings, normally arranged at intervals of about one or two weeks. Email and telephone support is also given. A comprehensive career manual is provided.

Stage 1 - Who am I ?

  • What transferable and marketable skills do I have?

  • What motivates me?
  • Which work roles and environments would suit me?

Use is made of questionnaires to help identify areas such as strengths, weaknesses and personal values.

  • Narrowing down the options to identify target areas.
  • Researching the job market.

Future Indicatives offers you access to several password-protected databases of useful resources.

Stage 3 - How do I market myself ?

  • CV preparation.
  • Networking techniques.
